A common view

Photographs by Duna Vallès

Site-specific installation; Escola Massana drawing room, it is produced during the workshop ‘APERTUS 01: The ass between two chairs’, Barcelona.
White paint, charcoal, pencils, markers, waxes.

Inside the Escola Massana there is a drawing room, with all the walls covered with random drawings, graffitis and tags from the students. The intervention in this case consists in turning upside down all theses graffitis placed upon the walls. As a first step, I have taken photographs of all the drawings, tags, dirtiness. After, I have painted the entire room white again, I have projected (with a beamer) the photographs upside down, painting all the tags and others marks in the same place they were placed but now 180o twisted.
